EYPW- Young Europeans aged 17-22 working for SDG#6

We are youth from different countries in Europe. Through lobbying, advocacy and project implementation, the EYPW is constantly trying to recommend better water policies. The EYPW also liaises with companies and experts so that they share their knowledge in our projects.

Our projects

Education and awareness are important fundamentals of our projects. Through increased awareness we instill values such as active citizenship and environmental responsibility in children, youth and other generations. Rolling our sleeves up and working hands-on is also a key asset of our delegates.

Join Us

If you would like play a part in creating a better world, work with our delegates or even better, become one. The EYPW promotes youth empowerment, informal learning and supplies the tools to implement projects- "Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean" Ryunosuke Satoro.

Recent Works

Armenia-"Be Water Friendly"
Prevention of a Man-Made Disaster - Environmental Program

“Be water friendly” project comprised of ecological camps, supplementary lessons at schools and water conferences for stakeholders. The aim of this project was to increase the awareness among citizens to become more involved in water governance.

Bulgaria – “Youth education for the future of water”
Bulgaria Youth Parliament for Water

BYPW organized a series of educational and field activities on the conservation of biodiversity of water and aquatic ecosystems. This was done through ecological schools in mountains and parliamentary sessions in many Bulgarian cities. This project was then implemented by other delegates in their respective country.

Switzerland – “Agis pour ton futur"

Every year, students from "Le Gymnase de Burier" compile material and deliver a lesson on environmental topics to younger students. The main idea of "Agis pour ton Futur" is to exchange knowledge between students of the same generation with the remit of generating greater impact. “SOIF” was indeed the most remarkable project was implemented in 2015, when 1500 students got together to form the word “SOIF”.

DROP Project

Greece, Poland, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Latvia, and Turkey participated in a project called "DROP". Participants created posters about water conservation, took part in photography and short films competitions and carried out fieldworks- such as sharing techniques that included positive and negative ecological practices in their respective countries.
